The Australia West Papua Association (Melbourne) is putting the call out to artists around the world to collaborate in raising funds to bring the issues of injustice in West Papua to the United Nations in New York.
Traditional Papuan artists have come together with Melbournes Papuan refugee communities painters and sculptors donating their artwork to be auctioned at Hogan Gallery on the 17th of May this year. We invite all artists to join with us in this project calling for, defending and celebrating MERDEKA – Freedom!
